Support for SF International High School Students

SFI United was founded during the fall of 2018 with a group of students participating in an art and social justice group led by CARECEN and supported by a teacher and Wellness Center staff. The youth wanted to use art as a way to raise awareness about social justice issues to empower communities to lift their voices as well as raise funds to support those most in need. Those students have all graduated from high school and the group is no longer running but the need to raise awareness and support families is of the utmost importance at this time.
After the pandemic hit, SFI United was relaunched by the immigrant rights community and supporters of SF International High School. In an effort to support the community-based organizations working directly with newcomer families, we are trying to find creative ways to help them so they can continue to provide much-needed relief to our community. SFI United is committed to helping them in supporting our community.
