Help Support Shannon and Brendan in Their Time of Need

My name is Ashley Gilbert and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart. Geoffrey Brittingham, cherished husband of Shannon Dailey Brittingham and beloved father of Brendan, age 7, tragically passed in a automobile accident, Friday, May 31st. Geoff’s sudden departure has left us all shocked and heartbroken. Please note, Brendan too was involved in the accident and is home from the hospital.

In his short 41 years, Geoff touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity. I personally consider the Brittingham’s very close family friends as our sons have been best friends since before they could talk.

As we come to terms with this immense loss, we want to honor his legacy by ensuring that the family is supported during this difficult time.

Shannon has been a consummate support system for all of us in times of celebration and heartache. It is now our turn to be there for her.

Unfortunately, adding to this tragedy, Shannon has been facing her own medical issues resulting in hospital stays. The unexpected nature of Geoff’s passing has not only placed a significant financial burden on this young family but also the added challenges of raising a young child in a single parent home.
