Support for Sharon- Now battling Breast Cancer

As all of you know, Sharon has been living with tumors in her brain since 2014, undergoing 2 brain surgeries to remove some of them and radiation to continue to try to shrink others. Throw on top of that losing her job during Covid and being out of work for a year. Well, the hits keep on hitting this strong sister of mine.

In early December, Sharon went in for a procedure to have the cysts in her breast drained, as this is another issue she has dealt with over the years. Well her doctor discovered a mass. After extensive tests, it was confirmed that she has breast cancer. So now she has another battle on her hands and I hope you will all help support Sharon as she starts her treatment plan.

The first step will be 2 rounds of chemo beginning on January 17th. She is in her prep stages now and had the port put in this week to make administering it easier.

We’ve learned of a Chemo cap that she can wear to help reduce her hair loss. We all know and love Shar’s gorgeous locks. And considering she will be doing a double mastectomy after her chemo treatments, we are hoping to preserve as much of her hair as possible.

The chemo is just the start of her journey, so I am starting a GoFundMe page to help raise money for the cap as well as the extra expenses she is going to incur. I will keep the page up and will post updates as she goes along in her treatments.
