Hello, My name is Ashley Schumacher. I appreciate you taking the time to stop and read our story. My family and I have just been blindsided by the unexpected loss of my sister, Shelby. Shelby was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2012, but that didn’t take away her spunky, carefree, personality. Her motto was Go Big or Go Home, that’s exactly how she lived, with no regrets. She was such a kind, sweet, genuine, loving, soul who had the voice of an angel and a smile so bright, it took away any gloomy day. Anyone whose path she crossed, she made an impact. There wasn’t one mean bone in her body. She loved life and loved making new friends. Unfortunately, beginning of June, our mom had a heart attack coming out of anesthesia following a surgery, she was admitted and had two more heart attacks which put her in heart failure. That night after leaving my mom I got home and got a phone call to get to my moms house, Shelby was dying, but by time I got there it was to late and had passed from having a Granmal Seizure. Shelby’s father passed away leaving our mom to be her caretaker and because of this unexpected event, my mom’s financial state has become a huge stressor. We are reaching out, asking for help with cremation, celebration of life, etc. Shelby just turned 32 in Feb leaving behind 3 sisters, 3 nieces, a nephew, and our mother who she loved so much.
