Our dear friend and Chicago based actor Sheldon Brown was shot early on Sunday morning (4/8) while walking home from the Wilson Red line stop. Thanks to the grace of God and the works of a good samaritan, Sheldon was rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing surgery and physical therapy. Due to this incident Sheldon has been unable to attend work, has lost a number of personal belongs (including his winter coat), and his upcoming performances as Friar Lawrence in Teatro Vista’s production of Romeo and Juliet are now in jeopardy. On behalf of Sheldon Brown we ask that you donate any amount you can to help him get back on his feet. Thanks to all who have visited him in the hospital- it has really lifted his spirits.
