Support for Silver Scone Teas

Hi,

My Name is Savannah Elwell and I’m the daughter of Jane Ellen, owner of Silver Scone Teas in New Ipswich, NH.

As many of you that have been supporting Silver Scone over the past couple years know that 8 months ago a battle was started among the neighbors of Bank Village in NI. There were daily complaints filed to the town for the “disruption” the tea parties were causing.

Fast forward a bit when the town eventually served a cease and desist order on Silver Scone due to the neighbor’s persistent maliciousness.

There have been some wins but mostly losses on this small business.

2022 was a difficult one for my mom as she found her strength and left a 30 year marriage. She started Silver Scone with the dream of becoming independent, doing what she loved and giving back to the community by sharing a piece of the British tradition, authentic English Afternoon Teas.

I’m at a dead end when it comes to how I can support. She’s been hit with loss of income and fees from the town during this battle.
