Support for Spencer Ruch's Family

Please help us provide financial support for Kelsey and infant daughter Mazie, after their beloved husband and father, Spencer “Spence” Ruch, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 1st.

Spence was a bright ray of sunshine, a great friend and co-worker who jumped on any opportunity to help others. He was a very talented, reliable, and always positive person. It was no secret that he loved his Michigan sports teams, and made sure everyone else knew his team was the very best! His laugh was memorable and contagious and he was a remarkably funny and very warm, welcoming guy. All this in spite of Spence having his own lifetime of health difficulties and challenges - yet he remained incredibly kind, generous, and positive.

Our hearts are broken from the loss of our dear friend and colleague, but also and especially for Kelsey and Mazie. The thought of Kelsey having to raise Mazie without Spence and of Mazie growing up without him is heartbreaking. Kelsey, he truly loved you and was so proud of the work you were doing at your job and at home with Mazie. Beautiful 6-month old Mazie, your dad really beamed with pride and joy every time he talked about you!

Spence was always giving and Kelsey is kind, giving, and patient as well. If you feel either of them touched your life in any way, please help in returning that by contributing so Kelsey can add to the 529 college fund that they started for Mazie and pay for any expenses. Any amount, big or small, will have a huge impact in the life of Kelsey and Mazie in the long run to ease the financial stress and create a legacy to the wonderful husband and father Spence was.
