Support for Sister Marian and Family
Donation protected
A mother should never have to bury her own child, especially just after the death of her husband.
We have started a gofundme to help Sister Marian and her family after the tragic loss of her husband and son. Her husband sadly passed away on 7th April 2020 and son on the 26th April 2020. Her husband unexpectedly passed away after a cardiac arrest and her son was unjustly attacked and murdered on her doorstep. Her life has been suddenly turned upside down and this is a chance for us to show our support and gratitude.
Sister Marian has helped so many of us in the NHS, she has practised as both a nurse and midwife for over 20 years and is a credit to the service. She is currently matron of Labour ward where she goes above and beyond to support her staff with any problems they present to her.
She has touched many of our hearts and I’m sure that there are a lot of us who want to help her in any way we can. Because of the Covid-19 outbreak it means the usual ways for us to be supportive are no longer an option. However, we can all still support Marian by donating as much as possible. The funds will help cover funeral costs and whatever else her and her family may need (including flights home to be with family when they are able to travel).
These are already very desolate times for everybody, but by donating you can show your support and help during this heart-breaking time for her and her family.
Let’s go above and beyond for Marian like she has for so many of us over the years.
