Support for stabbing victim and family

Tanya Gonzales and her family are still in shock after an intruder entered their family home on Saturday morning. Tanya was stabbed multiple times by the stranger until her brother-in-law ran to the kitchen where he heard screams, and the assailant fled. Tanya was taken to KGH where she’s undergoing treatment for multiple stab wounds to her torso, her back and a punctured lung.

Her family is now trying to navigate the next steps and could use some community support. Nobody wants to stay in the home and they are looking at temporary living arrangements for the immediate future. The funds raised will go to help Tanya and her family with any temporary rental costs, moving expenses, medical bills, and living expenses so they can focus on being together and helping her recover.
