Stefanie Delaney tragically lost her husband in a car accident on Monday, December 4, 2023.

William "Billy" Delaney began his career with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department on over 20 years ago and worked at the House of Correction until his passing on December 4. In addition to his dedication and commitment to the SCSD, Billy was a valued and well-respected member of the Boston Police Gaelic Column, bagpiping at countless services, celebrations, and community events.

Billy also leaves behind their two children - Owen (14) and Julia (12). We come together as a community to alleviate at least some of the logistical and financial burdens as they navigate this incredibly difficult new reality.
