Support for Stephanie Mandungu Family

My name is Danilya.  On November 20th, 2021, my Mother Stephanie Mandungu (also known as Stephanie Bamba), was taken away too soon at the age of 47, due to Breast Cancer.

She left behind her 22 years old daughter (Danilya), and 2 granddaughters, (13 y/o and 18 months old).

I am a student and the mother of the 18 months old baby. My mom had no life insurance and had not been gainfully employed in the last years of her life due to the illness. As a single mother, my mom worked hard her entire life and raised two daughters by herself.  

At age 22, I have now lost my mother and my older sister. Three years ago, my older sister Maria tragically passed away in Vancouver, British Columbia at the age of 24.  She left behind a daughter who is now 13 y/o. My sister was laid to rest in Victoria, B.C., where we grew up. I have no one else. 

Any funds raised in this Go Fund Me will go towards my mother’s funeral services, which includes the cost of transferring her remains to Victoria B.C., where she can be laid to rest next to my sister Maria.

I am forever grateful and thankful for any help you can provide to help provide my mother a decent farewell.
