I am Nadia Kim, the sister of Stephanie Quintana. It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you to share the devastating news of Stephanie's life being tragically taken from us. Stephanie was not only my sister; she was my pride and joy, my best friend, the sister I always prayed for as a child, and my mentee despite our 9-year age difference. We shared a bond that transcended mere siblinghood; she was like my own child.
Despite our age gap, Stephanie and I were incredibly close. She was only 22 years old, thriving, and her life was just beginning to unfold with so many wonderful blessings ahead of her. As her mentor, I can't express how truly proud I was, and still am, for all the remarkable accomplishments she achieved recently. It was the only beginning to a new chapter in her life, a chapter that was suddenly and tragically cut short.
I am creating a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Stephanie's funeral and memorial arrangements, as well as the costs to get her belongings transported back to California, which is her home.
The funds raised will cover the transportation of Stephanie from South Carolina to Southern California to be laid to rest in California along with the costs associated with the funeral, memorial services, and the safe return of her belongings.
