Support for Sudanese Woman Facing Homelessness in Hungary

Hi Community!

I am launching this crowdfunding campaign on behalf of a young disabled Sudanese woman and friend who is at risk of becoming homeless at the end of the month in Hungary. Although she has chosen to remain anonymous, she is a vital part of our digital Sudanese community. She is currently facing significant mental stress due to her situation while also caring for her parents, both of whom have serious health issues.

My friend worked tirelessly for months to save up for an apartment, making a four-month deposit of approximately $2000. Tragically, the landlord rejected her application and kept the deposit money. She is now working with law enforcement to address this injustice, but there is no guarantee that she will recover the deposit.

The immediate goal is to raise $2700 (approximately €2500 or HUF969,453.59) to cover her deposit, rent, and any necessary legal fees. Your generosity and support mean so much during this critical time. Thank you so much!
