On Wednesday, May 27th shortly before 12:30 p.m. on the Westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at mile marker 310.8 between Downingtown and Morgantown Susan Kremser was airlifted by Pennstar to Reading Hospital Tower Health due to a multi-vehicle crash on her way home from work. It is believed that there was construction on the side of the road and traffic came to an abrupt stop, causing this horrific crash.
Her vehicle was rear-ended by a large box-truck causing her to collide with the truck in front of her. She was found unresponsive with a blood spot on her brain and a tear on her carotid artery due to major whiplash. The medical team is worried she will experience a stroke due to the brain bleeding. In addition to the lacerations on her face, head, and upper chest, she is left with a broken left arm that is in need of surgery. She also has 4 broken ribs and seatbelt bruising.
Susan is a one-of-a-kind wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend of many. She is caring, loving, hard-working, and always lending a helping hand. She is always there for anyone who needs her without hesitation - now it is time for us to be there for her. These funds will help cover anything that she and her family may need during this very tragic and difficult time, whether it's medical bills, accessibility tools, therapy, etc. ..
It is never convenient to be in a hospital, but especially during this time of a global pandemic. Any donations and/or support for Susan, her husband Frank, and her family would be greatly appreciated. No form of help is too small.
We love you Susan and are praying for a speedy recovery. May you heal quickly and have renewed strength!
