Support for sweet Ivy

I am currently looking for some community support for a very dear friend of mine. Her cat, Ivy has been in and out of the vet since January of this year. Unfortunately, this has incurred a hefty debt . She’s needing to go to the vet again soon and because of the past appointments, my friend is in need of support.

*** Update November 20th, 2024: Ivy is one again in need of further testing. She has developed a twitch on the left side of her face and her pupils are also not equal. She is needing her ears, eyes and thyroid checked out. These tests alone are going to cost an additional $500.00.

She was diagnosed with a UTI and thankfully tested negative for FeLV and FIV. We have not done further testing for FIP due to the cost of the required tests.

As of right now all generated donations have gone towards Ivy’s treatments and medications.

Break Down:

1220.00 (donations generated): testing up until this point.

$500.00+: Testing ears, eyes and thyroid to hopefully determine cause of new symptoms.

$500.00+: Testing for FIP

$ 1500.00 for dental work

**Update as of November 15th, 2024: Ivys appointment didn’t go as planned and is in need of further testing. This is testing for FeLV, FIV, FIP and possibly lymphoma. The cost of these tests (& follow-up) could be anywhere from $500-$1000.00 or more.

Any donations will go towards these tests+follow-ups and if extra is generated, it will go towards her dental work.

Original Fundraiser:

My friend is in need of $700.00 for the appointment. This funding will go towards the cost of the appointment, medication, specific food to help her gain weight and any follow up appointments that are needed.

Ivy is also in need of significant dental work. This is also a factor contributing towards her health. Ivy’s dental fees will cost $1500.00.

In total my friend is in need of $2200.00.

Ivy is a very special girl to my friend and she will be very grateful of any support.
