Support for Tarah and Travis’ NICU stay

Tarah and Travis are needing all of our support! Last year Tarah and Travis learned that they would not be able to conceive a child on their own. They immediately started the IVF process to grow their family and fulfill their dream of becoming parents. After one heartbreaking failed attempt, the second round was successful. Twin boys were on the way! At almost 20 weeks pregnant the babies were diagnosed with TTTS (one baby had way too many nutrients and the other not enough). Their doctor in Omaha sent them to Children's Hospital in Colorado on 3-23-2022 for emergency surgery to try to save the babies. Shortly after that procedure Tarah started to get sick, and was diagnosed with preeclampsia. On 4-1-2022 they lost one of the twins. They transferred her to the University of Colorado after she started to get worse, and she gave birth to Asher last night 4-9-2022 at the very premature gestational age of 22 weeks. Asher is stable at the moment, and Tarah is recovering. We know they have a very long road ahead of them in Colorado before they are able to make their way back home. With medical bills adding up, and Travis not being able to work- to be by Tarah’s side they are needing all of the prayers, thoughts, and support they can get to make it through their unexpected extended stay in Colorado.
