As a family, we've been so humbled and grateful by the outpouring of love and support that we've received over the past 6+ months as we've navigated Ted's pancreatic cancer diagnosis and battle.
We received such generous support heading into the holidays which has helped our family enormously in being able to afford treatment and prescriptions over the past several months, while also compensating for the continued loss of income as Ted continues chemo treatment and Barb serves as his primary care taker.
Friends and family continue to ask how they can help and support us at this time, and the honest truth is that the financial burden has unfortunately become overwhelming and emotionally challenging on top of everything else.
With Ted’s cancer battle still ongoing and Barb‘s upcoming surgery for a desperately-needed full knee replacement, there are many additional expenses facing them.
In addition to very costly current prescriptions for Ted , there will now be home health aide for a few days and physical therapy co-pays and additional prescriptions while trying to keep up with living expenses on their very tight managed budget.
Our family has banded together to try to manage all of these financial challenges, but we're at a place where a little help would bring enormous impact.
