Support for the Arana Sisters
Donation protected
Just thirteen days into 2020, the year is off to a sad and heavy start. My sister, Patricia Arana, passed away and we are hoping to raise money for my two nieces, Adrianna and Lauren Arana, to help lift the financial burden of having to bury their mother.
Trisha was 48 years old and she enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, talking with loved ones, but mostly laughing about the silly things that her 2 year old grandson, Kendrick, would do.
Adrianna and Lauren are overwhelmed with grief as this isn’t their first parent that died all too soon - they lost their father almost 12 years ago. I am crying as I write this, as I can’t imagine going through my early 20’s and 30’s without a parent - a parent to call, a parent to celebrate holidays with, a parent to be the grandparent to my children, a parent who grows in their role through the years and shares wisdom, lightness, and endless love. This is heart wrenching.
A proper memorial is costly and I know there isn’t money set aside to take care of this. I want them to have an opportunity to honor and celebrate their mother without having a financial strain that they just can’t afford. They’ve already been through too much.
I have always held big dreams for them and today my dream is for them to freely plan what is next, to be present when they receive all acts of kindness, to know that their mother was loved and that they can honor her daily by taking care of the ones they love, as she always did.
You often hear that every single dollar counts, and it’s true. Please consider contributing any amount that you can. All money raised will go to memorial expenses and anything beyond that will go towards helping Adrianna and Lauren get back on their feet, as they had to make some financial sacrifices while their mother spent an extensive time in the hospital.
Thank you in advance for showing your support, for helping to spread the word by sharing our Go Fund Me link , and for sending good energy out into the world for my two nieces, Adrianna and Lauren.
