Love & Support for the Ayres Family

I cannot imagine any pain greater than suffering the loss of a child. Tyler and Tyra now have to find a way to navigate this life without their beautiful daughter, Savannah, who was only 17 when taken from this world.
Tyler, Tyra, and Abel are now forced to live in a world that was only the subject of nightmares before. I cannot imagine how long it will take for them to begin healing from such a loss. I imagine that we all feel pretty helpless with this because we love them, but there is nothing we can do to alleviate their suffering. There is nothing we can do to make this tragedy not real. But one thing we can do is show them our love and support by giving in order to allow them to have time to grieve together as a family without any financial pressure to go back to work before ready to do so. Please give what you can give to help this loving family.
Finally, in case you haven't seen it, this is what Tyler shared about their sweet Savannah:
"Last week I posted about my daughters scare with a pulmonary embolism. Yesterday, she passed away suddenly after heroic efforts by Sandy City Fire & Paramedics and the Alta View Hospital ER. I know they did everything possible to save my precious Sweetie. We are beyond devastated.
"Today, I don’t care if she’s in a better place, or if I’ll see her again because she’s supposed to be with me here And now! There are so many things she didn’t have time to do and I was so anxious to experience with her.
"Next year is her Senior year in high school. She was anxious to get back to school.
She wanted to go to Glacier National Park and we were going to for the last two summers but life got in the way.
"Nevertheless, my Sweetie saw the world with us and loved it! I took hr to Moldova and Ukraine a few years ago. She was able to carry a bottle of wine home as we walked from the grocery store and she felt so grown up.
"She did not talk to everyone a lot, some days no one, but on rare occasions she was a chatter box full of facts and scenarios she thought I’d be interested in.
In fifth grade I knew she’d learned something from me when she opted out of the DARE program because the police were teaching it! Her teacher was amazed but I wasn’t. She knew, we don’t talk to the police.
"Animals were the great love of her life. She adored our hideous cat and spent hour after hour training our ferocious dog. When she was little she loved horses but just to look at. She was not a fan of horseback riding.
"Recently, her favorite activity was baking with her Grandma Anna, unbeknownst to Tyra and I, shed text my mom recipes, then she would get all of the ingredients and Savannah would schedule a time to go baking.
"Most of my tears are tears of joy for the seventeen and a half years I got to see her, talk to her, teach, and learn from her. Now, I have the rest of my life to study those lessons so I’ll have a small portion of her wisdom.
"Hug your kids, now! Don’t run a quick errand or take a call first. I wish to God I had just hugged her yesterday."
