Support for the Boose Family

My step-father Tim is hard-working and would do anything for his family. He is the caretaker for my mother (his wife), who is in end-stage COPD. He also recently became the caregiver for his mother, who has health issues and can no longer live independently. He is the sole provider for his family as a private transporter. Recently, the truck he uses to transport items across the United States broke down while he was on a cross-country haul. The first mechanic that performed the repairs took roughly four weeks to repair the truck, only to tell him that after $3,000, they did not fix the problem. The truck was undrivable, so it had to be transported to a new shop in his home state, which cost another $3,000. Once at the new shop, they correctly diagnosed the issue as a hole in the cylinder. The cost to fix this is an additional $7,000. Tim has been unable to work for eight weeks and counting due to this. The cost of these repairs and the lack of income has put them in a financial bind. The raised funds will go directly toward the repair costs to get Tim back to work and ensure they can provide the necessary medical equipment and medications for his wife and mother. Anything can and will help.
