Support for the Brisco Family

This fundraiser has been created by the friends of Ambrose and Corrina Brisco to assist them after the sudden and devastating loss of their only son, AJ on March 27, 2023. After becoming inexplicably ill on March 18, AJ was admitted to the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, CA. Although he received the very best of care in the PICU, he suffered catastrophic organ failure and passed away peacefully a week later in the arms of his loving parents. They are still awaiting test results that could hopefully help determine the cause of his death and provide some closure for them. Until then, it remains an extremely painful mystery.

Ambrose “AJ” Brisco was a sophomore at Ripon High School in Ripon, CA. Prior to attending Ripon High, he was a student at Weston Elementary School in Ripon where he was a member of the leadership team and voted “Best Friend To All” in 8th grade. In his short time at Ripon High, the staff members awarded him with the coveted Tribe Award for his positive attitude and character. In February 2023, his peers elected him as Spirit King and Snowy King for the annual Ripon High Winterfest celebration. AJ and his parents could often be found helping out at the recycling center or at various community and school events. Corrina was an active officer of the Weston Parent Faculty Club, selflessly helping to ensure the success of multiple events and fundraisers. All of this to say that this family has graced our community with their kindness for many years. We are privileged to help repay their kindness now in their ultimate time of need.

Ambrose and Corrina recently used their savings to open a local bakery with the intent for AJ to eventually take over the family business. The funds acquired from this campaign will help to pay for funeral and medical expenses as well as to cover the overhead costs of the bakery and some cost of living expenses while Ambrose and Corrina process this sudden loss and make difficult decisions about the future.
