Support For The Bucholz Family
Donation protected
UPDATED 12/25
On Friday December 16th Alex Edward Bucholz passed away from Takosubo Cardiomyopathy at 35 years of age in Spokane Washington. He was a loving husband, incredible father, caring son, amazing brother, dedicated friend & hard worker. He will have a delayed service with a virtual component in early 2023. As his wife Amanda and two children Ayden (son, 2.5 years old) & Arrow (daughter, newborn) try to navigate without him they are asking for support.
The Bucholz family is working on determining details of where they are moving to and what is next for their path, so financial support is the most effective way to support them as they try to keep afloat. Please keep the family in your prayers as this journey is going to be a long one.
Alex and Amanda Bucholz are a bighearted young couple who live a life of service. Their young family just welcomed Arrow into the world on December 5th. After bringing her precious new daughter home from the hospital, on the morning of December 8th, Amanda awoke from a dream into a nightmare that still hasn’t ended. She was jolted awake when her unconscious mind heard her husband in distress making gurgling noises. When she found him, Alex was unresponsive and had no pulse. EMS was called, and Amanda proceeded to perform CPR until they arrived.
Alex is currently in ICU, fighting for his life. The doctors say he suffered from Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (broken-heart syndrome). At this point prognosis of Alex is very poor.
We ask for prayers; we need a Christmas Miracle for him to pull through.
The Bucholz’ have always been the first to help a friend or stranger in need. Now is the time for their friends and family to rally around them. We hope this GoFundMe will help take at least one worry off Amanda’s plate so she can focus on Alex, her new baby girl, and their sweet toddler Ayden.
I know the holiday season is difficult financially for most people, but please consider donating, even if it’s a small amount.
On behalf of the family, thank you!
