Support for the Buckner Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends + Family -
On Friday, September 3rd, 2021, Chase Buckner, husband, father and Chattanooga native, suffered multiple gunshot wounds as a victim of an armed robbery in downtown Chattanooga while working at a property.
While the injuries suffered from the gunshot wounds to his arm and leg are non-life-threatening, the severity of the injuries have lead to multiple reconstructive surgeries to save and repair his leg.
Chase, his wife Roo, his young daughter Emmy, and his family are incredibly grateful for God's protection and sustaining mercy throughout this entire ordeal, and for the support of their family, friends, and community during this time. They are also incredibly thankful for the wisdom of the doctors & medical staff, and the success of the four surgeries thus far.
However, due to the severity of the injuries from the gunshot wound to Chase's leg, additional surgeries are ahead as well as a long and difficult physical therapy process. It is unknown at this point how long the recovery will take and the implications it will have on Chase’s day-to-day life in the future.
At this time we are humbly asking for help to support Chase, his wife Roo, and their daughter Emmy, as they navigate the challenges in the months ahead — from covering ongoing and upcoming medical bills for the surgeries, physical therapy & rehabilitation to support for basic living expenses while Chase is unable to work.
We appreciate any and all support for the Buckners, whether that be a donation, words of encouragement, or a prayer. This is just the beginning of a long road ahead.
Your love and support mean the world to Chase, Roo, and Emmy.
