Support for the Burr Family’s healing

Hello everyone, my name is Courtney & I am setting up this account for my dear cousin Dan, his wife Makenzie and their beautiful girls.

The Burr Family.

On June 4th, 2024 their oldest living daughter; Daysee had her tonsils and adenoids removed. Everything was fine until it wasn’t. In the early morning hours of June 11th, 2024 Daysee began coughing and throwing up blood. While calling 911 and awaiting EMS Daysee stopped breathing and they could not find a pulse. Every parent’s absolute worst nightmare. CPR was administered and Daysee was mercy flighted to Strong Hospital not knowing if she would make it.

The best part, she’s a fighter and she pulled through! Thank God! Thank her guardian angel; big sister Lilly, and Thank the EMS, dispatch, mercy flight & medical team that helped saved this little girls life!

After such traumatic experience for everyone this family needs time to heal, physically and mentally. Not only did they almost lose their 3 (soon to be 4!) year old daughter, in 2018 their first daughter Lillian was stillborn, arriving three months early. They need to spend time as a family, healing together and making memories as you never know when everything could change in the blink of an eye.

I am asking for donations to help relieve some stress from Dan & Kenzies everyday life so they are able to slow down and focus on healing and spending time with their 3 little girls!

Dan is the hardest working man I know and such a great dad to his girls. He wasn’t fully on board with me making this but I am so proud of him and his family and all they have overcome.
