Support for the Carney Family
Donation protected
As most of you know, Justin was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure last spring and after many tests, he was put on dialysis and the transplant list. After many friends, family and co-workers went through the testing to see if they were a match, one was an excellent match and is graciously donating a kidney to Justin. The procedure is going to take place June 20th, 2018. She is donating it with a great deal of love and compassion to help him be with his family.
Justin is an amazing husband, father, friend and family member. He never misses a beat to help others and we would like the chance to help ease some of the financial burden for this amazing family during this time with this gift he is being given.
Justin and his family will be looking at medical and transportation expenses during this procedure and many months following the transplant. (They will have to travel every other day up to Portland for testing for the first 3 weeks and then it tapers off to 2 days a week for 3 months and so on until the meds are dialed in.) We also don’t know how much these rejection medications will cost. To help ease the burden, we are asking for donations to go toward fuel, lodging and other unknown expenses. Please, if you are able, we are asking for help in easing the financial burden for these amazing people.
With many thanks and lots of prayer, we humbly thank you for helping out to ease some of their stress and anxiety during this time.
