Support for the Cichon Family

If you're part of The Cellar Gym or the martial arts community in Minnesota and the Midwest, you probably know (or at least know of) Coach Chris Cichon. Coach Chris is a dedicated martial arts instructor, an accomplished kickboxer, a role model and mentor for countless students, and undoubtedly one of the most influential kickboxing & Muay Thai coaches in the United States. It's no understatement to say that all of us here at The Cellar Gym owe a great deal to his dedication, vision, time, and effort.

Recently, Coach Chris was diagnosed with a rare type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He is fortunately responding well to treatment; however, the Cichon family has a long road ahead as they face significant medical expenses and health challenges alongside raising their two young children. We aim to alleviate some of the financial burden and show our support for Coach Chris, who has made immense contributions to the sport and culture of kickboxing and Muay Thai in the United States, as well as helped shape The Cellar Gym into what it is today.
