Support for the Coast and Valley Team

Coast and Valley welcomed its first guests to share our mutual love for California wines less than a year ago. In the last 10 months, we've served so many amazing guests, many of whom have become fast friends. And at the heart of forging these experiences and relationships is our team. Alongside many of our hospitality colleagues, we've had to lay off every team member, with no certainty around when we will be re-open and be able to offer them employment again. It is by far the toughest decision we've ever had to make since opening, and we feel for our team  - they are our family. 

With so much uncertainty around our business, we are laser-focused on finding a way for our team to get through these hard times. So today, we are calling on our incredible community, friends, and family to donate, share and help where they can. 100% of the funds raised here will go directly to our team - split equally amongst them. This will help them with necessities, and while this isn't much by NYC standards, it will help them tremendously.

We appreciate all of the support we have received so far - the gift card purchases, Instagram messages, and emails. We have felt so much love across communities and from the entire industry. We are all in this together and will get through it together. And remember that when you go out to buy groceries and supplies - please support your local small businesses as much as you can. They need you right now.

We can't wait for the day that we get to open our light-filled space and share another glass of California wine with you. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy.
