Support for The Cody Family

Hello, my name is Amy Jackson, and I’ve created this Go Fund Me account on behalf of The Cody Family - Brian, Brenda and London.

Brian and Brenda have been married for 9 years and are the proud parents of London Rose. During the summer of 2022, Brian started experiencing back pain and what was thought to be something simple, turned out to be Stage IV Lung Cancer.

Brian started treatment immediately with an ever hopeful, and optimistic outlook. Unfortunately, Brian’s cancer has been so aggressive that treatments have been unsuccessful and the cancer has metastasized, and because of this, he has been unable to work. He has been without an income for the past two months as he has exhausted all of his paid leave.

Brenda has stood faithfully by Brian throughout this journey and will remain by his side as hospice is initiated. Brian was admitted to the hospital again on 1/1/2023 and he will be coming home today through hospice care. Hospice will ensure that he will be comfortable and able to spend his remaining time with his family.

The family is in need of support from their community. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards current, as well as any remaining medical bills incurred (currently at over $12,500 - not including this most recent hospital stay), and securing a future for London and Brenda. They do not have a life insurance policy or any other means of income other than Brenda’s. Please join us in helping them so that they may focus on one another during this period of transition.
