Support for the Dave Howe Family

My brother in-law Dave Howe was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer on Novemeber 21st. There was no warning signs, no family history...just bam stage 4 cancer! We were hopeful that he would be able to beat this....but unfortunately the cancer has spread and after 6 months of 2 different types of aggressive chemo the doctors have said that his treatment is not working.  The doctors have told us that they have done all they can and he will come home to be made comfortable and that the end is near. Dave has fought the good fight.  He is 49 years old with 2 young boys and so much to live for. Our family is devestated for him.  If you know Dave you know what an amazing man he is...smart, funny and a true Southern gentleman. He is the friend everyone wished they had.  Dave and Jen are an amazing couple...they met when Jen went to work at Microsoft and were engaged in 2 months. They  knew they had found eachothers person....Dave was the man Jen had been looking for her whole life...and Jen was the love of Dave's life.   They have been happily married for 17 years and had a great life,  his loss with be immeasurable. We are trying to ease the financial burden on Jen as she will be tasked with raising their children, taking care of the household and paying medical expenses. Dave, Jen and our family appreciate all the love and support everyone has sent...thank you so much!
