Support for Late Srijan Gyawali and Image Karki

Summary: On 17th June 2023, Dinesh Dai, Ganga bhauju, chhora Image (11) ,Ivan (6), Srijan Gyawali Dai,and Srijan Pyakurel Dai were heading for a family outing when they were hit by a pick-up truck.Their car rolled over 3 times causing 2 deaths and 3 life-threatening injuries. We are raising funds to provide much-needed support to the grieving family of the Late Srijan Gyawali and Late Image Karki, who tragically lost their lives in the car crash. This unexpected and heart-wrenching incident has left the family shattered, emotionally drained, and burdened with unexpected expenses. We aim to come together as a compassionate community to alleviate their financial burdens during this difficult time. Background: Srijan Gyawali and Image Karki both lost their lives in the accident. This tragedy has left Image's younger brother Ivan, father Dinesh and mother Ganga hospitalized going through treatment and fighting for their lives. Srijan Pyakural dai sustained injuries and is recovering. This sudden tragedy has left their family and friends in a state of shock and overwhelming grief. Srijan Gyawali who was the only breadwinner for his family, left his old parents in Nepal in utmost grief. It has particularly affected Srijan Dai’s elderly parents, who relied on their children for financial support. One day before his accident, Srijan Dai had a call with his mom and dad to whom he promised to bring them here and show them a better life, that dream has scattered into pieces with this accident. Srijan dai family (Mom and Dad) live in Srijan dai Mamaghar due to their financial condition. This is another sequence of tragic car wrecks for Ganga bhauju who was also involved in a very severe accident in 2018. She was still recovering from her last accident where she was hospitalized for months. She had just come back after recovering in Nepal with her two sons about a couple of months ago. We all know that these kinds of incidents are unexpected and come with intense emotional and financial stresses to everyone involved including friends and families. We, the friends and families are doing our best to console the victims and support them as they navigate through this unimaginable loss. The financial strain that comes with funeral arrangements, medical bills, and other unforeseen expenses only adds to their distress.Through this GoFundMe campaign, we seek to offer a helping hand to the bereaved family during this challenging period.Our goal is to provide them with the necessary financial support to cover funeral costs,outstanding medical bills, legal expenses, and any other pressing financial obligations they may face. By coming together and contributing, we can help lift the financial burden off their shoulders, allowing them to focus on healing and coping with their profound loss. How the Funds Will Be Used: 1. Funeral Expenses: Funds will be allocated towards arranging a dignified funeral service,including costs associated with the venue, casket, burial or cremation, transportation, and other related expenses. 2. Immediate Family Support: The funds raised will be utilized to support the immediate family members of Gyawali and Karki by covering day-to-day living expenses, childcare costs, and other necessary provisions during this difficult transition period. 3. Srijan Dai Funneral will be held at Dallas (Date to be decided ) Image Funneral will be held around Long View (Date and Place yet to decide) १७ जुन २०२३ का दिन अमेरिकाको नेपाली समुदायमाथि चर्को पीडा थपिएको छ । टेक्ससमा बस्दै आउनुभएका नेपाली समुदायका दुई होनहारहरुलाई हामीले सवारी दुर्घटनामा गुमाएका छौं । पूर्बी टेक्ससको टाइलरमा व्यबसाय गर्दै आएका दिनेश कार्कीको परिवार र उहाँकै स्टोरमा कार्यरत सिर्जन ज्ञवाली चर्को गर्मीका बीच विद्युत आपूर्ति बन्द भएपछि घुम्न निस्कदा पिकअप ट्रकले ठक्कर दियो । ठक्करले उहाँहरु यात्रा गर्नुभएको कारले तीन पटकसम्म पल्टिएर ठूलो दुर्घटना भयो । जसका कारण सिर्जन ज्ञवाली र दिनेश कार्कीका पुत्र ११ बर्षिय इमेज कार्कीको घटनास्थलमै हृदयविदारक निधन हुन पुग्यो । दिनेश कार्कीको परिवारमाथि ५ बर्ष अघि पनि ड्यालसमा यस्तै खालको दुःखद घटना भएको थियो । सवारी दुर्घटनामै उहाँकी पत्नी गंगा कार्की सख्त घाइते हुँदा लामो समयसम्म अस्पताल बसेर उपचार गराउनुपरेको थियो । त्यो दुर्घटनाबाट तङ्ग्रीएर व्यबसाय अनि बालबच्चाहरुको लालन–पालनमा सकृय दिनेश र गंगाको जोडीमाथि परेको यो असैह्य पीडाप्रति जतिसुकै शव्द खर्च गरेपनि सहानुभूति कमै हुन्छ । उता वृद्ध मातापिताको एकमात्र सहारा सिर्जनको निधनले नेपालमा रहेका बा–आमा बुढेशकालमा टुहुरो हुनुभएको छ । सहाराविहिन हुनुभएको छ । उता दिनेश र गंगाको अझै पनि अवस्था गंभीर हुनुका साथै अस्पतालमा उपचाररत हुनुहुन्छ । यो कठिन अवस्थामा यतिखेरको उहाँहरुको उपचारको लागि आवश्यक रकम जोहो गर्ने र नेपालमा रहनुभएका सिर्जनका मातापिताका लागि जीवीकोपार्जनका निम्ति केही गर्नैपर्ने अवस्था छ । एकले थुकी सुकी, सयले थुकी नदी भनेजस्तै यो दुःखद घटनामा मलहम लगाउन अमेरिकामा रहेका सबैले आफ्नो क्षमता अनुसार सहयोग गरेको खण्डमा पीडित परिवारलाई राहत पुग्ने भएकोले सहयोग संकलनका लागि गोफण्डमा एकाउण्ट खोलिएको छ । गोफण्डको रकमले समाजले गुमाएका दुई होनहारहरुको दाहसंस्कारदेखि लिएर उपचारका क्रममा भएको खर्च, दुर्घटनाको कानुनी प्रकृया अघि बढाउँदा लाग्ने खर्च व्यहोरिनेछ । यसका साथै नेपालमा भएका मृतकका परिवारका सदस्यहरुको जीवनयापनका लागि समेत यो रकम खर्च गरिनेछ । थपमा भविष्यमा यो केसमा भैपरि आउने ठाउँमा खर्च गर्नका लागि गोफण्ड खोलिएको छ । नेपाली समुदायका एक होनहार सदस्य माथि परेको यो पीडाको क्षतीपूर्ति त कसैगरि पनि हुनसक्दैन । तर यस्तो पीडामा परेको परिवारलाई थोरै भएपनि आर्थिक राहत दिन सकेको खण्डमा अमेरिकाको महंगी, चर्को मुद्रास्फितीका बीच जीवन धान्ने चिन्ताबाट केही समयको लागि भएपनि सहज हुनेछ । अर्कातिर बुढेशकालमा सहारा गुमाएका बृद्ध बा–आमालाई समेत थोरै भएपनि राहत पुग्नेछ । आउनुस्-यो अभियानमा हातेमालो गरौं । पीडित परिवारको राहतका लागि खोलिएको गोफण्डमा सहयोग गरेर परिवारलाई मलहम लगाऔं । तपाईको सानो सहयोग पनि पीडित परिवारका लागि ठूलो राहत हुनेछ ।
