Support for the Family of a Loving Father Taken Too Soon

Update #2: Today marks 2 weeks. The girls said sometimes it feels like just yesterday and sometimes it feels like a year ago. In this time, we’ve done our best to celebrate our youngest daughter’s birthday and Canadian thanksgiving. We’ve leaned hard on the support of amazing friends and family. Chris, a loving father and friend, passed away suddenly on October 2nd, due to a cardiac event, leaving behind our three teenage daughters whom he adored. His unexpected departure has left a void that will not soon be filled.

Chris was the primary earner and, we’ve learned unexpectedly since his passing that he did not have life insurance, leaving our family in a vulnerable position during this heart-wrenching time.

Now, in the wake of this unimaginable loss, we are faced with the challenge of covering funeral expenses, day-to-day living costs, university expenses for our twins, as well as the cost of having to prepare our family home for sale.

Many of you have kindly asked how you can help our family during this difficult time and financial support is what is needed most right now.

We are hoping that those whose lives he touched, and anyone who is moved by his story, can come together to honour his legacy by helping our family in our time of need.
