André Newman was a vibrant life force in the Tucson community. Many people know him from the Purple Tree Truck at Tumamoc, AZ Heritage Tours, and his charismatic performances. He will be dearly and deeply missed and his loss is devastating. André was beloved by so many, and we'd like to show up for his family in this difficult time.
With permission from his Arizona family (Serena and Savan), BLM Tucson is hosting this fundraiser that will go towards their legal fees, and other end of life costs as well as therapy, housing, bills and other living expenses. We'd like to take these burdens off of his family.
50% of whatever is raised beyond the initial goal of $20k will go towards a trust and college fund to secure Savan's future.
