Support for the Family of Late Dr. Sir Ken Igwe
Donation protected
Although taking numerous precautions to ensure his safety unfortunately our father Dr. Ken Igwe contacted Covid-19. After receiving the positive test results, he went to the hospital, was admitted and soon after put on life support to help him breathe . We were fearful being aware that this was our only living parent and we had a similar fatal past experience with our mother...
In Early 2013 my mother and father came home and sat down to tell my sisters and I that my mother, Dr. Gloria Igwe, had been diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctor, months prior misdiagnosed my mother and soon her cancer metastasized to other nearby organs such as her lungs. One abrupt morning our mother woke up fighting to breathe. She also went to the hospital, was admitted and soon after put on life support. On August 2, 2016 exactly 7 days after Queen’s birthday, our mother passed away from breast cancer.
As a single father now, our father Dr. Ken Igwe , was very selfless when it came to not only his children but in our community as well . He always went above and beyond to make sure all those he loved were comfortable in every aspect of life. Five years later and three days after the 19th birthday of the twins , Chinonye & Chidimma, we received an abrupt and life changing phone call that the heart of our father , Dr. Ken Igwe, had stopped . The hospital did everything they could to save him .. but after spending about one month in the hospital our father passed away on January 27, 2021.
Now that we’re on our own , we intend to uphold the values, morals and traditions instilled in us by our parents . We know it will not be easy but with your help and the help of God we will sustain , we will persevere. Thankyou and may God replenish the pockets of all those who support us and donate as we prepare a befitting funeral for a man that touched the lives of so many ❤️
