Support for the Family of Scott Cowan

Scott Cowan was a beloved husband, father, and family member. He was also a cherished friend and colleague. Scott lost his life in a tragic car accident on Thursday.

Our hearts go out to Pam, Casey, and the entire Cowan family. This has been an especially difficult few years for them after the loss of their son and brother, Jacob in Sept 2021. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this grief.

Scott has worked for Total since the beginning and helped us deploy our EM tools in Utah in 2010. Scott help in the growth and success of the company in that area and was a wonderful colleague and employee.

Reminiscing about Scott brought up a beautiful memory. Nathan, Chris, and Scott were attending a new EM training out in California and finished early, affording them the opportunity to drive from San Jose to Santa Cruz and see the ocean. Upon arrival, Scott was having a moment taking it all in and was asked what was on his mind. He said that it was his first time seeing the ocean. It was an unforgettable moment for Nathan and sharing that moment with Scott is something he will always cherish.
