Support for the family of Terry Whale

Hi, Both Robyn and myself work alongside Mel Whale in the People and Culture team at PCYC. Mel's husband has recently passed away and we would all like to do everything that we can to support Mel and her young family in the tough times ahead.

We are raising money to help Melissa and her two children (6 and 13) following the passing of her beloved husband of 14 years, and her children’s father, Terry Whale. Terry was diagnosed with kidney cancer less than 6 months ago and despite being accepted into clinical trials through Greenslopes Hospital he passed away only weeks out from Christmas.

Melissa is a much respected and dedicated part of the People and Culture team at PCYC Qld (Police Citizens Youth Club). She has tirelessly worked alongside management, colleagues, and PCYC team members of this charity despite the ordeal that has been occurring in her personal life over the last six months. We cannot thank her and show her enough respect for the dedication she has shown to PCYC despite the ordeal that has been unfolding at home.

Terry is the much-loved husband of Melissa, father of two beautiful children, son, son-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

We have set up this Go Fund Me account to ease the financial element of this great loss and assist the family in any way that we possibly can. We sincerely thank anyone who can donate to this wonderful family.
