The Foss-Swaine Family Needs Our Help!

Hi All-

Thank you for visiting. This gofundme is in support of our dearest ones, Jeanne, Michael, and Louca, as they navigate some real uncertainty in the coming weeks. Michael just tested positive for covid and is in isolation at home (breakthrough infection). Louca is also presenting with symptoms, and Jeanne had to cancel all of her client sessions for the foreseeable future in order to care for them and herself, should she also test positive. This means she will lose at least two weeks of earnings as Louca cannot return to his childcare center until everyone has recovered and the quarantine period has passed. As many of you know, being a solo practitioner in a city like Seattle can be financially challenging and suddenly losing two weeks of income causes incredible stress, which is the last thing this family needs as they battle covid. To make matters worse, Michael and Jeanne are in the process of finalizing the purchase of their first home (their landlord notified them that he intends to sell the house they have been living in since relocating to Seattle from California).

Jeanne and Michael are two of the most generous, most loving, most hardworking, and most dedicated artists/humans/parents/friends/activists/professionals I have had the privilege of knowing. Jeanne does such incredible work with her clients and is a wonderful support to her colleagues and friends. My intention with starting this fundraiser is to give Jeanne and Michael an opportunity to feel all of our hands on their backs as they weather this hopefully temporary financial and health storm.
