Support for The G Family's Survival in Gaza

Hello and good day,

This fundraiser is for emergency aid to the "The G Family", a family of two parents, 48 and 54 years old, and their six girls, Shaza, Lana, Mayar, Renad, Sirin, and Siwar, and four boys, Muhammad, Abdul Rahman, Murad and Ezzedine, ages 6-25 years old, in the new camp in Nuseirat, Gaza, Palestine, amidst escalating violence by the occupation. Their goal is to raise $25,000 for basic necessities, such as food and water, to rent a house for shelter, and to help the children resume their studies.

J. Lehrhoff is raising these funds on behalf of the family's 20 year old daughter, who had this to share about her experience:

Our house was bombed

during the middle of the war,

and currently,

we are living in an intact room

in the destroyed house,

and my father has been unemployed

since the beginning of the war, and

the goods are full,

but their prices are very high, and

my family is 12 people,

most of whom

are children

and they themselves are in everything.

My family and I are living in a famine

we cannot bear.

I want to learn.

I was studying English at the university, but

because of the war,

my university was bombed,

and I want to have the opportunity to learn,

I am still 20 years old.

I want to learn and live in peace.

"I do not have a picture of the outside of our house before the war. This is the place that my father bought with the sweat of his brow and the toil of his life. It is the place where we spent 13 years of our lives with our sorrows, our joys, and even our problems. I wish the days would return to before the war. I wish the war had not come...but it came and destroyed our dreams with it."

As the funds are received, J will pull them and send them to The G Family via Western Union, a process which has been completed successfully three times so far as of 6/23/2024.
