Support for the Gamez Family – Helping Isabel on Her Road to Recovery

In February, our dear friend and colleague James Gamez faced an unimaginable challenge when his beloved wife, Isabel, suffered a stroke at home on a quiet Sunday evening. Thankfully, James and their son were there to recognize the urgency of the situation and immediately called for medical assistance. Isabel was rushed to Kaiser, where doctors discovered she also had a blood clot that required emergency surgery.

By the grace of skilled medical professionals and Isabel’s fighting spirit, she is now on the path to recovery. Though her progress has been steady, her journey is far from over. She is currently in a rehabilitation center, working hard to regain her strength. However, this ordeal has placed an incredible strain on the Gamez family—both emotionally and financially.

Isabel is unable to work, and James has taken time off to care for her and manage the many challenges that come with such a life-altering event. As she continues to heal, James will need to be by her side, ensuring she has the support and care she needs when she returns home.

James has been an invaluable part of the Mission Bell family, and now it’s our turn to support him. We are coming together to help ease the financial burden on the Gamez family so they can focus on what truly matters—Isabel’s recovery.
