Support for the Hegedus Family

My name is Lauren Sandman and Kendra is a dear friend. Kendra and her husband Andrew have three beautiful children, one of which is Dax (7 yrs). Dax was diagnosed with Phelan-Mcdermid Syndrom as a baby. While the diagnosis was devastating, they fought back with love and perseverance (with the help of family and friends of course) with every obstacle thrown their way.

While we have all known the reality of Dax's diagnosis, it has snuck up on us sooner than expected and it's hard to accept that Dax's life on earth is coming to an end. Kendra and Andrew will be spending every precious moment they can with Dax and Andrew will likely need to take time away from his job as they work through the immense grief that comes with losing a child.

It is time for us to surround the Hegedus family with love. The money from this fundraiser will be used to support their income. Your financial support will allow the Hegedus family to focus on every moment they have with Dax and their journey through grief when Dax becomes an angel.
