On December 12th, Mandy Honeycutt, beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and most whole heartedly and unconditionally, friend was suddenly and unexpectedly called home.
The Honeycutt Family is raising funds to help with living cost for the sons of Mandy Honeycutt.
Mandy’s sons are with her parents, Sandy and Marvin Honeycutt. The funds collected will be used for to support her sons… including any medical, living or other related expenses.
Her oldest son, 5 years old is currently in kindergarten. He is smart, courageous and full of energy. As soon as he came into Mandy’s life, the unconditional love Mandy gave was intoxicating. Mandy’s son came into her life, our lives at a time when we were grieving from losses in the family… and when he was just a year old, he gave us all hope as we grieved for the loss of Eric, Mandy’s brother.
Her youngest son, just about 1 ½ years has already started to tiptoe into the “terrible twos”, but he does it in his own special way… which includes the most mischievous grin ever to cross our paths. Mandy’s pregnancy was hard on her body and she spent the last several weeks of the pregnancy in the hospital until he arrived quite a few weeks early.
For Mandy’s 35 years with us she has shared many laughs and a few tears. Mandy had a passion for friendship… once you were her friend that was it… you were just about friends for life. She stayed connected to people in a way that is rare today. It didn’t matter if you haven’t talked in a while, with Mandy, a conversation never ended; it was just on pause until the next time.
Mandy’s passing has left a hole in many of our hearts.
