Support for the Hunters & Kuhlman Recovery
Donation protected
While on a joint family vacation in South Dakota, Bob and Glenda Hunter and Donna Kuhlman were involved in a serious car accident.
Along with other medical concerns, all three are hospitalized with multiple injuries and face an uphill climb to heal enough to travel home.
Andy Hunter and Emilie (Kuhlman) Hunter, as well as their two young granddaughters, flew from their home in Chicago to meet them for vacation only to find this nightmare scenario.
Donna’s other daughter, Ilze (Kuhlman) Guilmet, thankfully was able to fly in from California the next day.
While we are all so extremely thankful that they all survived, I am reaching out to ask for help because their family now has the daunting task of managing three complex medical situations, some that will require months of rehab and eventually a potentially complicated transport home.
The whole family is facing a longer stay in an area during the peak of the area's tourist season, multiple unexpected flights to manage logistics in their home states, and the need to eventually get all three safely home when it is time. There will also be many other unexpected incidental costs of living in a hospital and in a tourist area for an extended time.
