Support for the Jacques Family

Donna Jacques fell ill on February 1st and was immediately admitted to the Southern Maine Health Care Hospital in Biddeford, ME. Though she has managed to battle her infection with the influenza virus as well as severe sepsis from pneumonia, the residual effects have left her in critical condition. She is in the special care unit of the hospital receiving daily life-saving treatments and requires a ventilator to breathe for her. Though she continues to make minor improvements, the prognosis remains relatively unclear. 

As many of you know, Donna is the principal of St. Thomas School in Sanford, ME. Those who have been touched by Donna’s selflessness know that she always puts the needs of her family, school, church, and community before hers. Prayers and support for her and her family are desperately needed. Funds raised through this campaign will provide local hotel accommodation, food, and assistance with medical expenses so that Donna's family may remain by her side to see her through this devastating event. Those unable to donate are encouraged to share words of encouragement and to continue to pray. Updates provided by her daughter will be posted to this page as frequently as possible to keep her supporters informed.
