As a proud member of the Bayville community, Copa stands with our neighbors during challenging times. Our community recently faced a tragic event on Drake Drive, where a beloved husband and wife were critically injured in a shooting incident involving their neighbor. Both victims were airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center and remain in critical but stable condition. ​

This couple has been an integral part of our community, known for their warmth, kindness, and active involvement. They are loving parents to four sons, who now face the immense challenge of supporting their parents through recovery while managing their own lives. In light of this unforeseen tragedy, the family now faces significant medical challenges and unforeseen expenses.​
