Support for the Kyrish Family - Devastating House Fire

Very early in the morning of February 22, the incredible Kyrish Family - Jeff, Amy, Avery (7th grade), Luke (5th grade), and Beau (pre K) - experienced a devastating house fire and a total loss of their home and all of their belongings. Thankfully, Avery woke in time to see flames in her room and to alert Jeff, but the fire was already moving too fast to do anything but get out.

The loss is undeniably great, but it could have been so much worse. Jeff and Amy still have all of their babies to hold, and the family pets made it out safely as well. There is grief and deep thanksgiving, all at the same time.

The Kyrishes have a long road ahead of them, and will incur many heavy expenses as they begin to rebuild their lives - the list is seemingly unending. They will also be connecting with counselors to help process and deal with the trauma that they have all just experienced.

This is a wonderful family. The kind that gives to others in so many ways. Every single one of them is big-hearted and loving - they would do anything to help others. Please, let's join together to let them feel just how much this community, their friends, and others who their story touches, want to be there for them - to lift them up and help carry the load during this awful time.

Please know - the Kyrishes have received your donations, are aware of who donated, and are so very thankful for your kindness and support. They are also so appreciative of those who dropped off clothing and other items, as well as those who have offered and provided meals, and have helped with locating a rental home. Theirs is a beautiful village!
