Todd McDevitt was diagnosed with an aggressive malignant brain tumor on 2/14/22 and passed away suddenly on 2/20/22. He was an amazing son, brother, father, husband, and friend to so many. Todd was a pilot for American Airlines and flying was his 2nd passion. His family was by far and away his greatest love. His wife Mindy is a 1st grade teacher in Santa Ana and together they raised three sons. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this past summer. Todd loved being an active member in the Huntington Beach community; especially coaching his sons' sports teams. We will have a memorial in June to celebrate the life of this hard-working, funny, generous, one-of-a-kind man. More details will follow.
Todd is survived by his wife Mindy; his sons Kevin, Nathan and Quinn; his parents Nancy and Matt; and his brothers Matt, Brian, and Patrick.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to this fund to support his sons' education. Kevin is currently a junior at UCSB; Nathan is a senior at Edison High School and is eagerly awaiting college acceptance letters; and Quinn is a sophomore at Edison. Nothing made Todd prouder than the achievements of his boys and his dream was to help them get through college debt free. He was the ultimate family man.
