Support for the Means Family

Our mom, Lori Means, was admitted to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln on November 13th. She had an outpatient procedure to remove her kidney stones that week. Her kidneys did not handle the procedure well and shut down. She had an infection in her blood and was put on temporary dialysis. She has improved so much the last 26 days, but is still in the hospital. She will next move to a rehabilitation center to get her strength back to go home.

We do not know how this will impact our family financially, but we know that a month in the hospital will surely be expensive. Our wish is to relieve some of the financial stress of this situation so Mom can focus on healing.

Our mom is such a special lady to so many people. So many friends have reached out and offered to help in some way. If you are able to give, we appreciate it more than words can say.
