Support for the Melahouris Family after the Wildfires
Donation protected
Our dear friends Michael, Deb, and their two children were victims of the wildfires that destroyed nearly all of Altadena, CA earlier this week. Their family home has been destroyed, along with everything they owned and their entire community now bearing the weight of this cataclysmic destruction for potentially years to come. Due to how quickly the fire spread in Eaton Canyon, they were only able to evacuate with limited essentials but all family members and pets are luckily safe.
We are eternally relieved for the health and safety of our friends, and are creating this GoFundMe as a way to help them get back on their feet as well pay their kindness and generosity shown to others, forward to them. The money from this fund will help pay for everything lost in the fire, from new housing, clothing, furniture, kitchen utensils, home appliances, linens, school supplies, office needs, to everything in between that makes a home, a home.
The people creating this fund are a small group of LA natives who are friends and coworkers of Michael. After he shared with us the news about losing his home on Wednesday morning, we decided the best way to offer our help to him and his family was to create this GoFundMe page. We hope that by sharing this fund with our other friends and coworkers in our network, we can raise money in our own community to offer immediate relief and support.
We greatly appreciate your time and any contribution you are able to make, not only to our friends of this fund, but to any of the victims, families, and survivors of the LA County fires.
Thank you for your support,
Signed,
— The friends & coworkers of The Melahouris Family
