Support for the Minnihan Family as Seth Recovers

Hi everyone! I’m a friend of Jessica Minnihan and put this fundraiser together for the Minnihans, as they are facing unexpected medical expenses and loss of wages due to Seth getting in a scootering accident. Like so many in Sacramento, Jessica has costumed me for the stage and has been a support offstage. Now it’s time for us to show up for her!

Every dollar helps towards co-pays, lost wages, meals, etc. while Seth is on the road to recovery with Jessica by his side helping him.

Here are some details from Jessica about the accident and the family’s needs:

“The past twelve months have thrown several curve balls and I will likely look back at 2023 as the year I humbly (and unwillingly) learn to ask for and accept help from others.

On Friday, Seth was in an accident on one of those electric scooters in Midtown Sacramento. He broke seven ribs on his left side and punctured and collapsed one lung. He also sustained a forehead laceration, some significant road rash, and lots of scrapes and bruises. He is currently in the Trauma ICU. Seth is making incredible progress and should be out soon, but he’s got a fairly long road to full recovery ahead.

I share this, with his permission, because we know we have a lot of friends and family out there who care.

And we know there are a lot of friends out there who have asked how they can help. I’m going to be taking a lot of time off work in the next few weeks. There are going to be co-pays and gas and food expenses plus some items and clothing that we will need to make sure Seth is as comfortable as possible once he gets home…
