Michael (Mikey) Petro from Allport PA tragically passed away on July 22, 2020 on route 8 in Richland Township as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 38 years old. He graduated from West Branch Area High School in 2000.
Mikey joined our family as a butcher at Dave's Country Meats about a year ago. From his first day of work, he won us all over with his with his humor and love of art and music. He was a very friendly, quirky guy who had a funny story for any occasion. He was a hard worker but also made the work day entertaining for his coworkers. He had dreams of starting his own food service business one day.
Mikey will be remembered as always having a smile on his face and a funny movie quote on hand. He was a very genuine person and we are all truly heartbroken by his passing.
