Support for The Pilgrim Family

Tony and Mellissa need our help. Anyone who knows this couple personally knows they don’t like to ask for help, If you don’t know them, know they are the first ones to help others in a time of need. Now its our turn.

Tonys dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and is undergoing treatment back home in Newfoundland. Tonys mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and has been in a home the last couple of years, during this time his dad has been living alone adapting to life without his wife by his side. Tony and Mellissa live in Ontario but have been in Newfoundland to support his dad during treatments as he maneuvers through this trying time. To say this has been tough on Tony and Mellissa is an understatement.

During his stay in St Johns Newfoundland they received the devastating news that the family home in Main Brook Newfoundland caught fire and burned to the ground causing them to lose everything. Unfortunately there was no home insurance due to insurance not being an option. This loss is crushing to the family.

With Tony having to be away from work paycheques are not coming in, therefore they are going to require assistance to help rebuild the family home. They will also need help for travel expenses to and from the hospital along with any other essential needs.
